The Steamboat Ski Resort has started a Local's Appreciation week that hosts a wide variety of discounts, apres parties and even a day with the Gondola opening early for all season pass holders! Pressing Glass: So in celebration of the incredible ski season to come, ResortQuest Steamboat staff met up this early Tuesday ski morning (Gondola opened 1/2 hour early at 8am!) with hopes of powder day. Alas there was no new snow but the super soft well groomed runs made for some bombing runs with high speed pursuits and lots of fun!
Snow Report: There is a great base on Steamboat right now (38" inches) with only a few spots that need some extra cover. The snow making machines and mother nature have combined forces to create incredibly soft runs with perfect corduroy and blue bird skies!
